Luján Statement On FCC Vote To Repeal Net Neutrality

[WASHINGTON, DC] – Congressman Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) today released the following statement in response to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) vote to rollback net neutrality protections:

“We must protect a free and open internet, which has spawned countless innovations that have bettered our lives.  It has revolutionized the way we do business, changed how we learn, and expanded our ability to access information. It is essential we keep the innovative spirit alive by ensuring strong protections that prevent internet service providers from blocking or discriminating against internet content. That is why I called on Commissioner Ajit Pai to delay today’s vote and to remove his proposal from the FCC’s agenda.”
